The Lesson of Prayer

Matthew 6:10 - "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as itis in heaven." Some time ago I was invited to speak at a college in another state,and my schedule was such that I could not come. When they offeredto send a private plane, I agreed. As we flew over Arkansas, thepilot asked me if I wanted to try my hands at flying the plane. Isaid, "Yes." Of course, he was sitting right next to me. He couldfly it without me, but I couldn't fly it without him. He had hishands on the controls with me. He allowed me to participate withhim. That's the way prayer is. God can do it without you, but God enables you to have fellowship with Him and teaches you a dependency upon Him.

In Each Life For A Reason
In Each Life For A Reason
Many can be in our life, and we in theirs, for a time and season
for some special reason. But if they ARE now gone it's time to
move on. So whatever's behind leaving, and for the good in front
reaching
[Philippians 3:12-14. I do not claim that I have already succeeded
or have already become perfect. I keep striving to win the prize for
which Christ Jesus has already won me to Himself. Of course, my
brothers, I really do not think that I have already won it; the one
thing I do, however, is to forget what is behind me and do my
best to reach what is ahead. So I run straight towards the goal in
order to win the prize, which is God's call through Christ Jesus to
the life above].

It's important for parents to live the same things they teach. Thank GOD for what you have,TRUST GOD for what you need.
If you fill your heart with regrets of yesterday
and the worries of tomorrow,y ou have no today to be thankful for. Man looks at outward appearancebut the Lord looks within. The choice you make todaywill usually affect tomorrow.
Take time to laugh, for it isthe music of the soul.
Patience is the ability to idle your motorwhen you feel like stripping your gears.
Love is strengthened by workingthrough conflicts together.
Harsh words break no bonesbut they do break hearts.
To get out of a difficulty,one usually must go through it.
We take for granted the thingsthat we should be giving thanks for.
Love is the only thing that can bedivided without being diminished.
Happiness is enhanced by others but does not depend upon others.
For every minute you are angry with someone,you lose 60 seconds of happiness that you can never get back. Do what you can, for who you can,With what you have, and where you are.
