knowledge is the foundation for spirtual maturity and stability in our Christian faith. Hence the Christian needs to increase his knowledge in order to grow strong in faith and in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.There are three areas of knowledge in which the believer needs to grow:

1.Grow in the knowledge of the Word.The Word of God reveals God's mind, character and will.In it God reveals Who He is and what He wants to do with us. The Word also teaches us how to live for God while in this world. It is the spiritual food that sustains our soul. That is why the Lord Jesus says that " Men shall not live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God"(Matt 4:4). The Word also equips and strengthens us for the service of God so that we may glorify Him(2Tim 3:15-17).

2.Grow in the Knowledge of God Himself.Loving and trusting God depends on how well we know Him. Hence we need to seek Him and get to know Him better day by day. Paul's passion was "to know Christ and the power of His resurrection,being made comformable to His death and entering into the fellowship og His sufferings"(Phil 3:10).This comes through intimacy in spending more time with Him alone each day. This is the discipline of waiting upon Him. There are no "stort-cuts" to knowing God other than sacrificing time in order to linger in His Presence.

3.Grow in the Knowledge of Spiritual Things.Reading God's Word and spending time in His presence will lead to increase in the knowledge of spiritual things, such as sensitivity to God's promptings, revelations of the " heavenly realm" and prophetic understanding of divine activities in our lives. This come to us through the ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives. 1Corinthians 2:9-14 tells us that God has "prepared" many things for us that "no eye has yet seen, no ear has yet heard,no mind has ever conceived". These are divine realities that few have experienced because not many are willing to pay the price of seeking God and waiting upon Him. Yet, these are the very things that make our christian life and experience exciting and satisfying.The Christian life is a journey-walking with God along the pathway of life until He takes us home. Maybe like Enoch He may just walk us right up to heaven!

And pray for my grandma's health as she's getting old now. I hope she will alive but dont want her to die anymore. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AH MA!
