Rend Your Heart‏

Rend Your Heart

The Lord spoke all day long and it started with this: "Rend Your Hearts!"Now rend is not something one would normally say, it means to rip or tear out with violence, to split apart showing grief or anguish. I thought, Lord I am not sure I am hearing You right, but I was and He spoke to me all day over those 3 words "Rend Your Hearts". At first I thought why would God ask people to rip and tear apart their hearts before Him.

This is what He showed to me today. God asks for our hearts first and above all and God asks for ALL of our hearts, not parts of it. God writes upon our hearts. He gives to us a new heart. We store things within our hearts. Unfortunately, we store most all things within the heart and sometimes those things are not things of God which God meant for us to keep there. We can store good things of God there or things such as hurt, anger, bitterness etc there. The things which are not of God make our hearts hard in the places where we hold on to them. It is not always a result of our own sin that those things are there in the heart, many times it is from others sinning against us that allowed those things to be stored there, hidden within our heart. The Lord showed to me that things/times/wounds which are hidden within our hearts are hard and we are to rend our hearts before God. Tear them wide open and expose all that is there before the God who can heal those things.

God cannot heal our hearts or give us a new heart if it is hard and things are still hidden there. Rending the heart is painful, it is never pleasant to go into the things hidden in the heart, the past things which have caused us pain and expose them before God, but if we do not rend the heart, if we let those things stay hidden there, we cannot find His healing within those areas of our lives and that piece of our heart will stay hardened and hidden. It will bring spiritual death to the part of our heart that is hardened.

When we rend our heart, the pain that is there can be healed by God and the things not of God will leave our life. When we do not rend our heart, that pain is trapped there and just allows the heart to get even harder.

I think we have all had times that seemed to tear at our heart and cause us deep pain and all too often people tend to hide and bury that pain and let that part of their heart harden, they hide those times deep within the heart. It is painful to go back into those times or moments that are hidden there deep within the heart and when we do, it feels as if our heart is being ripped out once again.

The trouble is that God cannot heal the heart, or parts of the heart that we have hidden away, until we are willing to rend or open that part and expose it before God. God wants to heal and have ALL of our hearts, and that means that we need to rend our hearts to God fully to find that healing that only He can give.

If we do not rend all of our hearts, then all those things which God does not want there, those hardened places will remain with all of the pain, etc, trapped inside. You cannot have a new heart or the heart of God fully until you are willing to rend all of your heart.

God is sovereign, and while I do not know why God allows certain things into our lives, there is always a reason. And that is usually to take us to a place of deeper trust in Him or to grow our faith. I was reminded in the Word of the time in the desert that God had allowed the people to be bitten by the snakes. The bites were literally killing the people.

The Lord told Moses to build a bronze snake and put it on a pole and when the people looked at it, they would be healed. Sometimes the serpent does bite us in life and when he does, we have to stop and look at what bit us in the face to find the healing of God in that time. God made the people look at the very thing that caused their pain, grief, even death and He did not just say glance at it, but fix your eyes on it.

When we are willing to face the pain of what is in the heart and we are willing to trust that God will heal it, God meets us there within that pain and He does show us truth of that thing and we will find healing. I personally know that the deeper the pain or wound or wrong done to us, the deeper it is hidden within our heart. The more the heart was hurt or torn, the deeper the wound gets hidden and the harder the heart becomes. You cannot find healing from God until you are willing to stare in the face the very thing that harmed you because it is rending your heart to God, exposing that thing to Him, that allows God the freedom to come to youand heal your heart.

Many times that does feel like you are tearing open your heart with violence, it is painful to go to those times and places within our heart, but until you do, God cannot heal you and God will not have ALL of your heart. God is desiring to heal and have ALL of our heart in this time so that He can fill our hearts full of what He desires for us.

Rend your heart, and God will pour out His Spirit upon you, and will fill it with new life from Him. God is calling His people to return to Him with ALL of their hearts so that He can fill us to a fuller measure of His Spirit within this time.

God is wanting to sweep the land with His glory upon our lives for all to see, but until we rend our hearts fully to Him, His glory will not be fully seen by others within our lives. Rend your heart to the God who can heal it, return to Him with all of your heart, so others may see the glory of what the Lord Most High will do within the lives of His people.

God's Been Good To Me‏

God's Been Good To Me

I'm mindful of the blessings
That come my way each day.
My heart is overflowing
Each time I kneel to pray.
I'm thankful for the seasons:
Each one's a masterpiece.
I'm allowed to work the land,
But God still holds the lease.
I'm grateful for the friendships
That brighten sorrows way,
Because my cup of happiness
Sustains me every day.
I love the children and the flowers
That decorate my life,
And the quite gentle hours
Free from worry and strife.
I'm grateful for eyes that see
The beauty of it all,
Because God's been good to me
And has blessed me through it all.
I'm thankful for the little things
That fill my life with love.
The best things in life are free:
They come from God above!

Why Does God Give so Much?‏

My Cup Runs Over

Have you ever wondered why God gives so much? We could exist on far less. He could have left the world flat and gray; we wouldn't have known the difference. But he didn't.

He splashed orange in the sunrise and cast the sky in blue. And if you love to see geese as they gather, chances are you'll see that too.Did he have to make the squirrel's tail furry? Was he obliged to make the birds sings? And the funny way that chickens scurry or the majesty of thunder when it rings? Why give a flower fragrance? Why give food its taste?

Could it be he loves to see that look upon your face? If we give gifts to show our love, how much more would he? If we - speckled with foibles and greed - love to give gifts, how much more does God, pure and perfect God, enjoy giving gifts to us?

Open The Eyes Of My Heart By Paul Baloche

Open the eyes of my heart Lord,
Open the eyes of my heart,
I want to see You, I want to see You!
Open the eyes of my heart Lord,
Open the eyes of my heart,
I want to see You, I want to see You!

To see You high and lifted up,
Shining in the light of Your glory,
Pour out Your power and love
As we sing Holy, Holy, Holy!

Open the eyes of my heart Lord,
Open the eyes of my heart,
I want to see You, I want to see You!
Open the eyes of my heart Lord,
Open the eyes of my heart,
I want to see You, I want to see You!

To see You high and lifted up,
Shining in the light of Your glory,
Pour out Your power and love
As we sing Holy, Holy, Holy!
To see You high and lifted up,
Shining in the light of Your glory,
Pour out Your power and love
As we sing Holy, Holy, Holy!

Holy, Holy, Holy,
Holy, Holy, Holy,
Holy, Holy, Holy,
We want to see You!!!

How Should We View Ourselves?

How Should We View Ourselves?

God doesn’t want a bunch of clones. You should not let people makeyou feel badly about yourself because you don’t fit their image of whoyou should be. You were created to be you. You were not created tomimic somebody else. If God had wanted you to look like a perfect model or have a different personality, He would have made you that way. When you go around trying to be like somebody else, not only does it demean you; it steals your uniqueness.

An important factor in seeing yourself God’s way is to understandyour intrinsic sense of value. Your sense of value cannot be basedon your successes or failures, how your friends treat you, or howpopular you are. It is not something we earn; indeed, we cannotearn it. God built value into us when He created us. As His unique creation, you have something to offer this world that nobody elsehas, that nobody else can be. Your sense of value should be basedsolely on the fact that you are a child of the Most High God.

Quiet yourself and receive God’s Word: “We are God’s workmanship” (Ephesians 2:10). The word workmanship implies that you are a “work in progress”. God is continually shaping us into the people He wantsus to be.

Be an original, not a copycat. Be secure in who God made you to beand then go out and be the best person that you can be. Even ifeverybody else rejects you, remember, God stands before you with His arms open wide.

IF YOU RUN THE RACE AND BE THE BEST THAT YOU CAN BE, THEN YOU CANFEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF.

"Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its trouble, it empties today ofits strength"

Remember, when the world pushes you to your knees, you are in perfect position to pray"

A Great and Encouraging Word‏

A Great and Encouraging Word.

TITUS 2:11-14

11. "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,
12. Teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we shouldlive soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,
13. Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our greatGod and Savior Jesus Christ,
14. Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people zealous for good works."

The appearance of the grace of God is to produce two results in lives of believers: first, we are to resist the evil temptations of this world, by living godly lives in this present age. Second, we are to look for Christ's return.

Great God and Savior Jesus Christ is one of the strongest statements of the deity of Christ in the New Testament.

Redeem means to purchase. With his death on the Cross, Christ paid the price to release us from the bondage of sin (Eph 1:7)
to which every unbeliever is a slave(Rom. 6:6,7,17,20).

God's purpose in redeeming is not only to save us from hell, He also wants to free us from sin so that we can produce good works that glorify Him (Eph. 2:8-18)

A bright side of the Tribulation‏

A Bright Side of the Tribulation

"And I saw another angel ... saying, do not harm the earth...til we have sealed the bondservants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them who were sealed one hundred and forty-four thousand from every tribe of the sons of Israel" Rev. 7:2-4.

The Spirit of God is gone but the servants of God are these 144,000 Jews. Many Bible scholars believe that the 144,000 will be Jewish Evangelists, like the Apostle Paul, during the tribulation. He said he was one "born out of due time" 1 Cor. 15:8. Now think about this. The Jews are scattered all over the world. Imagine 144,000 Apostle Pauls preaching all over the world, with the power of God upon them like the Apostle. You talk about revival.

A great multitude saved."After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which noone could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples andtongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed inwhite robes, and palm branches were in their hands... These are theones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washedtheir robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."Rev. 7:9-14.

Is anyone going to be saved during the tribulation? Yes, a great multitude from every tribe and tongue, under the powerful preachingof these converted Jews who are scattered all over the world andalready know the languages.

Then shall the end come. The context is critical here. "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, andthen the end will come" Matt, 24:14. This whole chapter is Jesus'answer as to "when shall the end of the world (age) come" vs 3. Jesusis not talking about the rapture but the return to the earth. Thewhole context is clear about that. More on this later. Too oftentoday people apply it to the rapture and then declare Jesus cannotcome until the great commission is fulfilled. NO. If that were sothen the coming of the Lord Jesus is not imminent, meaning he couldnot have come at any time or now! The honest truth is we are a longways from fulfilling the great commission. We ought to be passionateabout trying to fulfill it and get the gospel to every creature. Butthis passage in Matt. 24 tells us it will be fulfilled during the tribulation. Awesome truth but it all fits. Reread this lesson untilit becomes clear to you. Stay with us and see how it all fits.

O dear people. You passion and mine ought to be to get the gospel tothat lost person we meet and have a few minuets with now. It may bethe last member of the Body of Christ before the rapture. Wouldn'tthat be phenomenal if your had the privilege of winning the lastperson to Christ in this age? All because of Calvary, Sumner

Prayer: Father, You are not willing that any should perish. Help us to realize that the person you put is with may be the last one to be saved and we must get the gospel to them and give them achance to go to heaven even as someone gave us the gospel one day.In Jesus name.

His Alone

His Alone
Before the Lord
Almighty can in any great way use a man,
He first must teach that heart to seek
the glory of God alone.
The proudest heart that lusts for fame,
The heart that seeks for men’s acclaim,
When laid down at His feet in...

Remind Me God‏

Remind Me God
By David Mac Whinnie

The times when I am lonely
and perhaps I feel despair.
Let not my ailing heart forget
That you hear my every prayer.
Remind me that no matter,
What I do or fail to do.
There still is hope for as long,
As I have faith in You...
Let not my eyes be blinded,
By some folly I commit,
And help me to regret my wrong,
And make amends for it.
Inspire me to put my fears,
Upon the hidden shelf,
And in the future try not to,
Feel sorry for myself.
Give me the restful sleep I need,
Before another dawn.
And bless me in the morning,
With the courage to go on.
