Living Unclogged Lives‏

Living Unclogged Lives
Pastor Todd Pope

Live Carefully - Psalm 101:1 (NIV) I will sing of your love and justice; to you, O LORD, I will sing praise. Psalm 101:2 (NIV) I will be careful to lead a blameless life-- when will you come to me? I will walk in my house with blameless heart.

1 Corinthians 10:23-24 (NIV) "Everything is permissible"--but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible"--but not everything is constructive. Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others.

Galatians 5:13 (NIV) You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature; rather, serve one another in love.

Romans 6:13-14 (NIV) Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.

Romans 6:16-18 (NIV) Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey--whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

Walk It At Home.

Indescribable

This is a great Praise and Worship Song and it is veryappropriate for Thanksgiving.
Keith Overturf

Indescribable
Words and Music by Laura Story.

From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea,Creation's revealing Your majesty, From the colors of Fall to fragrance of Spring,Every creature unique in the song that it singsAll exclaiming, Indescribable, uncontainable, Your placed the stars in the skyAnd You know them by name, All powerful, untamable, Awestruck we fall to our kneesAs we humbly proclaimYou are amazing God! Who has told every lightning bolt where it should goOr seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow, Who imagined the sun and gave source to its light,Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of nightNone can fathom. Indescribable, uncontainable,Your placed the stars in the skyAnd You know them by name, All powerful, untamable, Awestruck we fall to our knees. As we humbly proclaimYou are amazing God!

The Lesson of Prayer‏

The Lesson of Prayer
From the messages of Adrian Roger

Matthew 6:10 - "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as itis in heaven." Some time ago I was invited to speak at a college in another state, and my schedule was such that I could not come. When they offeredto send a private plane, I agreed. As we flew over Arkansas, thepilot asked me if I wanted to try my hands at flying the plane. Isaid, "Yes." Of course, he was sitting right next to me. He couldfly it without me, but I couldn't fly it without him. He had hishands on the controls with me. He allowed me to participate withhim. That's the way prayer is. God can do it without you, but God enables you to have fellowship with Him and teaches you a dependency upon Him.

1 Chronicles 16:23-26 (KJV), Sing unto the LORD, all the earth;shew forth from day to day his salvation. Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvelous works among all nations. Forgreat is the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also is to befeared above all gods. For all the gods of the people are idols:but the LORD made the heavens.

Philippians 2

3Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
4Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father

In Each Life For A Reason

In Each Life For A Reason

Many can be in our life, and we in theirs, for a time and season
for some special reason. But if they ARE now gone it's time to
move on. So whatever's behind leaving, and for the good in front
reaching

[Philippians 3:12-14. I do not claim that I have already succeeded
or have already become perfect. I keep striving to win the prize for
which Christ Jesus has already won me to Himself. Of course, my
brothers, I really do not think that I have already won it; the one
thing I do, however, is to forget what is behind me and do my
best to reach what is ahead. So I run straight towards the goal in
order to win the prize, which is God's call through Christ Jesus to
the life above].

Good Sayings

Anger is a condition in which
The tongue works faster than the mind.
You can't change the past, but you can ruin the present
By worrying over the future Love...and you shall be loved.
GOD always gives HIS best to thosewho leave the choice with HIM.
All people smile in the same language. Everyone needs to be loved... especially when they do not deserve it. The real measure of a man's wealthis what he has invested in eternity.
Laughter is God's sunshine.
Everyone has beautybut not everyone sees it.
It's important for parents to live the same things they teach. Thank GOD for what you have,TRUST GOD for what you need.
If you fill your heart with regrets of yesterday
and the worries of tomorrow,y ou have no today to be thankful for. Man looks at outward appearancebut the Lord looks within. The choice you make todaywill usually affect tomorrow.
Take time to laugh, for it isthe music of the soul.
Patience is the ability to idle your motorwhen you feel like stripping your gears.
Love is strengthened by workingthrough conflicts together.
Harsh words break no bonesbut they do break hearts.
To get out of a difficulty, one usually must go through it.
We take for granted the thingsthat we should be giving thanks for.
Love is the only thing that can bedivided without being diminished.
Happiness is enhanced by others but does not depend upon others.
For every minute you are angry with someone, you lose 60 seconds of happiness that you can never get back. Do what you can, for who you can,With what you have, and where you are.
Take care my friends and enjoy your day!

Jesus Loves Me, This I Know‏

Jesus Loves Me, This I Know
by Jeff A. Jenkins

"Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so." These simple words in the beloved hymn for children, speak to the most profound truth in Scripture.
There is another song that we sing as adults that proclaims the same truth. "Why did my Savior come to earth, and to the humble go? Why did he choose the lowly birth, because he loves me so." In a world where the idea of love is given multiple definitions, it is one of the greatest blessings of life to know of the love Jesus has for us. Each time we gather around the Table of our Lord, we are reminded of his great love for us. As we eat the bread and drink the fruit of the vine, we remember again how blessed we are to know his love. One of the greatest principles associated with his love for us is that it cannot be taken away from us. Paul states this very clearly in Romans 8:35-39, when he says that there is nothing in this world that can "separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus." God will never remove his love from us. In spite of how we may treat him and how we may live, Jesus will still love us. He loved those who hung him on the cross and treated him with such cruelty a long time ago. Dear Father, help us never forget the most profound fact in all the world. May we never forget how much we are loved by our Savior. As we gather to feast on the Lord's Supper, help us to always be thankful for the amazing love that has been showered upon us.

This is an excellent prayer. Pray it and share it with others. Keith

Dear Lord,

I thank You for this day.
I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning.
I'm blessed because You are a forgiving and understanding God.
You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me!
Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you.

I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and harm.Help me to start each day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude.Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things that are of you.Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. And it is the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits.I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart.Continue to use me to do Your will. Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others.
Keep me strong that I may help the weak.Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others.I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way.I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood.I pray for those who don't know You intimately.I pray for those that will delete this without sharing it with others.I pray for those that don't believe.

I thank you that I believe.I believe that God changes people and God changes things.I pray for all my sisters and brothers, and for each and every family member in their households.I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes, that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God.

In jesus name i pray Amen

Unforgiveness‏

UNFORGIVENESS

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32

Someone has hurt youCut you through and through. In your spirit you try to let it go,But instead its brought you low. You try to put it out of your mind,But the words were not kind. You become bitter and unforgiving;Your days become miserable living. The Holy Spirit moves you to get it right,But you refuse to repent day or night. You don’t want to be the way you are,But your nearness to God is far. You begin to look withinAt how bad you are, so full of sin.You see how bad you have hurt the Lord; How far you have wandered from His Word. You see you are no better than they; You too, have wandered far astray.God loves you too much to leave you that way.He wants to break your heart to pray. Get it right before its too late;Forgive your brother, refuse to wait.Repent of unforgiveness before the nightSo that you can be pleasing in His sight. -Gene Griffin

The Unrivaled Power of Prayer‏

THE UNRIVALLED POWER OF PRAYER

Romans 8:26-27 (NIV) In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.

We realize that we are energized by the Holy Spirit for prayer; we know what it is to pray in the Spirit; but we do not so often realize that the Holy Spirit Himself prays in us prayers which we cannot utter. When we are born again of God and are indwelt by the Spirit of God, He expresses for us the unutterable.

"He," the Spirit in you, "maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God," and God searches your heart not to know what your conscious prayers are, but to find out what is the prayer of the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit of God needs the nature of the believer as a shrine in which to offer His intercession. "Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost." When Jesus Christ cleansed the temple, He "would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple." The Spirit of God will not allow you to use your body for your own convenience.

Jesus ruthlessly cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and said - "My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves." Matt 21:13. Have we recognized that our body is the temple of the Holy Ghost? If so, we must be careful to keep it undefiled for Him. We have to remember that our conscious life, though it is only a tiny bit of our personality, is to be regarded by us as a shrine of the Holy Ghost. He will look after the unconscious part that we know nothing of; but we must see that we guard the conscious part for which we are responsible.

Trials
© by Claytia Doran

No matter what trials come our way,God will see us through each day.If only we'll put our trust in Him,The light of His love will never dim.

Don't ever think that He's forgotten you. It's just, sometimes, we need a test or two. For, we'll never be able to help our brotherIf we're not tested, one way or another.

Never ask the Lord for an easy road,But only for strength to carry your load. For, through your sorrows, you will findThe Lord is with you. He's loving and kind. And, when your trials have all gone away,'I've been there, too,' is what you can say. For, there'll be times when someone you meetWill praise God to walk in the steps of your feet.

Our Saviors Amazing Love‏

Our Saviors Amazing Love

"Their leader will be one of their own; their ruler will arise from among them. I will bring him near and he will come close to me, for who is he who will devote himself to be close to me?" declares the Lord. "So you will be my people, and I will be your God." —Jeremiah 30:21-22 It is the Lord who causes us to draw near to Him. God knew we would mess up. He saw it way in advance and made provision for it from the very beginning. He knows our frailty, both physical and emotional. He recognizes the limited capacity of our hearts. He sees the yes in the hearts of His people and says, "I understand your weakness, and yet I recognize your willingness to be wholly Mine." He looks at the agreement in our hearts and calls forth our budding virtues into full maturity. You see, we are dealing with a loving Bridegroom, the Man Christ Jesus. He is fully God, but He is also fully man. He has intense affections filled with tenderness. Even while we grow and falter on our way to full maturity, He enjoys us, and His heart flows with extravagant compassion, the likes of which the world will never know without Him. {PRAYER STARTER} Lord, how awesome the knowledge that You allow me to present myself insin and weakness before You, and then in love You raise me up to spiritual maturity because You love me.

Ready to Give an Answer‏

Ready to Give an Answer

1 Peter 3:15 - “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.” Sometimes during an interview, a reporter may ask me, “Do you think a Jew without Jesus is lost?” If I say, “Yes,” then I will look like a racist or a bigot. If I say, “No,” then, I have dishonored the Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for the sins of all people. So how do I answer? I say, “Friend, I believe that one of my own children without Jesus would be lost. It doesn’t matter whether he’s a Jew or a Gentile. You see, God demands absolute perfection and none of us can provide it. That’s why we need the gospel. We need Jesus. We need the righteousness of God that comes by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ.” What would you say if someone asked you that question? Ask the Lord to prepare you.

When Chrstians Sin‏

When Christians Sin
Sinclair Ferguson

How successfully do you handle the sins of others? Observation suggests that the Christian family too often reacts with either hot indignation or cold indifference, without a proper sense of biblical responsibility. Sometimes we seem as bad at handling others' failures as we are at over-coming our own. No doubt these two things are related. Yet, given the nature of the gospel, would we not expect that the church should be vastly different from the world on this point?

Scripture gives several principles which should govern our response to the sins of others.

1. Grief. A life has been marred. Christ's name has been shamed. Perhaps others' lives have been invaded by the consequences of sin. Things can never be quite the same again. Hearts will have been hardened, making repentance the more difficult. Knowing this, we will weep with those who weep. (Romans 12:15)

2. Realism. Conversion does not deliver the saints from the presence of sin. We may have died to sin, but sin has not yet died out in us. The regenerate man is only in the process of being healed. Sin dwells in him still, and is deceitful still.

This does not excuse the believer's sin, but it underlines that it is possible for Christians still to sin. Scripture encourages us that there will be no fatalities, but warns us that we can still be critically wounded. The strong-stomached authors of the Westminster Confession caught this balance when they wrote that "sanctification is throughout in the whole man; yet imperfect in this life, there abiding still some remnants of corruption in every part, whence ariseth a continual and irreconcilable war . . . In which war, although the remaining corruption, for a time, may much prevail; yet, through the continual supply of strength from the sanctifying Spirit of Christ, the regenerate part doth overcome . . ." (XIV,ii,iii) Such knowledge does not protect us from grief over others' sins, but it does help us to see that a single wound is not the end of the war, and thus preserves us from despair of ourselves or others. 3. Self-examination. We too are frail, we too may fall. Our sins may not have produced the same public consequences as those of our brethren, but may be no less horrible. We may have been spared the combination of sinful desire, the pressure of temptation, and the opportunity to act that has brought another to fall. Only those who know that they too are "subject to weakness" will be "able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray" (Heb.5:2). 4. Mutual confession. We are to confess our sins to each other, and to pray for one another (Jas.5:16). Why? Because mutual confession breaks the grip of Satan over the guilty heart. Satan's paralyzing stranglehold depends on our acceptance of his winsome lies: 1) No other Christian could have sinned as you did. 2) No other Christian will accept you and love you now, so you must disguise your sin by any means you can. But in mutual confession we discover and overcome his lies, and break the blackmailing grip that Satan has gained over us. It brings us back into the fellowship from which we have withdrawn out of guilt and a fear of discovery. 5. Forgiveness and reconciliation. Those whom Christ welcomes we must welcome. He grants grace and forgiveness in order that there may be amendment of life. We dare not reverse that gospel pattern by demanding rigorous rehabilitation before we extend forgiveness and reconciliation. 6. New discipline. Brothers and sisters who sin are to be restored gently (Gal.6:1). There is a twofold emphasis here, on discipline and grace. Those who have failed need to drink long and deeply from the fountain of grace, learning again and again that we are not justified by our sanctification but by God's grace. They will need to be protected from Satan's efforts to overwhelm and cripple them with guilt, or to drive them to a sense of despair. Moreover, they have sinned, as we ourselves have, and together we must help them to remodel and rebuild their Christian lives and testimony. The foundations must be strengthened, the ruins must be reconstructed. It appears from our Lord's teaching that all this may normally be accomplished informally by fellow Christians, long before it becomes necessary for formal discipline to be inaugurated. Such discipline is for the intractable only (Matt. 18:15-17). We must never lose sight of the fact that the New Testament church contained one who, after his regeneration, denied Christ with blasphemies. Christ prays for those whom Satan seeks to sift like wheat. (Luke 22:31) He loves them still. Who knows to what usefulness a brother or sister may be restored by those who have learned how to handle the sins of others as well as their own? This article was previously published in Eternity Magazine.

The Value of Pure Worship‏

This is a long but excellent teaching on this subject.
Keith Overturf

The Value of Pure Worship
Wade E. Taylor

True worship is born of, and directed by the Holy Spirit. Because of this, Christians who have never been together before, are able to worship the Lord in a flow of beautiful harmony that lifts them into the presence of the choirs of heavenly worshippers, to worship with them. A casual observer might think that they had been worshipping together for years.

This ability to flow together in audible worship is given as a part of our receiving the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, the “spirit of worship” quietly abides deep within us and awaits an opportunity for expression. The proper atmosphere and some encouragement releases us to begin worshipping the Lord.

The Holy Spirit readily imparts the quickening presence and the anointed power to lift “corporate worship” into a flow of harmonious expression. As worshippers respond to the “manifest presence” of the Lord and enter into a flow of corporate harmony in their worship, they will begin to receive prophetic understanding and revelation.

Within the Body of Christ, there are many different levels and expressions of worship. Praise is thanking the Lord for all that He has done for us. Worship is pure adoration for who He is. Worship increases our desire to be in the Lord’s presence. It is a key to becoming sensitive to His presence and learning to recognize His voice.

As we are faithful in our expression of worship to the Lord, we will increasingly become more aware of His abiding presence, and we will more easily discern His voice. Our vocal worship will do much in helping to develop these spiritual qualities within us.

The first time I attended a Full Gospel meeting, I was greatly disturbed by the loud audible praise, and desired to leave. I understood “blessed quietness,” but I had never heard everyone in a service singing and praising the Lord loudly and freely. Today, I am eternally thankful that the Lord had His way, as I slowly, but gradually entered into this same spiritual freedom and expression of praise and worship.

In a worship service, drums will stir the soul and those present will get excited and shout, giving thanks for all that the Lord has done for us. But, if we will become quiet in an attitude of adoration and worship, the Holy Spirit will begin to worship the Lord through us, and our expression of worship will rise into a flow of harmony that will lift us into a higher realm of divine presence. This worship in harmony is impossible with the beat of loud drums, as this “beat” will reduce us from eternity into time, and rob us of the divine presence, while the harmony of pure worship will lift us into union with the worship of the choirs of heaven. Discretely played with a sensitivity to the building presence of the Lord, drums may help to accelerate praise, but should become silent as praise begins to harmonize into a flow of worship. Satan knows this, but very few worship leaders do. Moses both knew and valued the presence of the Lord. “And He (the Lord) said, My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest. And he (Moses) said to Him, If Your presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.” Exodus 33:14-15 (comments added) This intense desire within Moses to have the presence of the Lord abide with him did not just happen. It came through circumstances that caused him to diligently seek the abiding presence of the Lord. Though Moses was “learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in words and in deeds” (Acts 7:22), he failed in his attempt to fulfill his calling by delivering an Israelite, and fled into the wilderness. Here, while keeping the flock of Jethro, his father-in-law, he pursued the call that rested upon his life, as he journeyed toward the mountain of God. As Moses traveled, he noticed that at a distance to the side of his path, a bush was burning with fire, but was not consumed. “And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.” Exodus 3:2 After Moses noticed this burning bush, he said: “I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.” Exodus 3:3 “I will now turn aside.” This speaks of something within Moses that desired and was responsive to the presence of the Lord. Notice that the Lord appeared in a bush that was “a distance to the side” of the path that Moses was taking, even though he was moving toward the mountain of God. This is because the Lord desires to be wanted, and seeks a response from us that indicates our desire for His presence. The Lord chooses to reveal Himself in such a way that it requires a deliberate action on our part, as an indication of a true desire for His presence. Our having this “bent of spirit,” or “spiritual aptitude” toward the Lord’s presence, does not come easily. It must be actively desired, sought after, and cultivated. Our “worship” is a key to developing this spiritual sensitivity and aptitude for His abiding presence. “When the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.” Exodus 3:4 Although Moses was intent on moving toward the mountain that pertained to God, he desired the presence of the Lord so much that he willingly responded to this manifestation of the supernatural, and turned toward it. He was obedient to the voice of the Lord, though at the time he did not understand what was taking place. Each of us is affected by the worldly environment that surrounds us. As a result of this, we develop varying amounts of sensitivity to “earthy” things. When we were “Born Again,” we received the capacity to recognize and respond to “spiritual” things. Through the working of the Holy Spirit within us, we began to understand that we have become a new creation, and have entered a new and higher realm of life. We learn that the purpose of the Lord is not to build up the temporal, but rather, to introduce us to the spiritual. This under-standing will help us to turn aside from lesser things, and to focus our attention on cultivating an increasing sensitivity to His presence and voice. Therefore, there is an urgent need for an increase in the quality of our worship. As our worship begins to flow up to the Lord in an expression of harmony and purity, the presence of the Lord will also increase in our gatherings. This increased presence of the Lord will draw those who are truly spiritually hungry, and they will turn aside to worship the Lord with us. While I was a student in Bible school, I learned a very important spiritual principle from one of my teachers, Walter Beuttler. He said, “The Lord appreciates being appreciated.” This expresses something very close to the heart of God. We all desire to be appreciated, but the Lord uniquely appreciates, and responds to His being appreciated. He shares His presence with those who let Him know they appreciate Him, especially through their worship. Our music, our worship, everything that we do in a gathering should be directed toward our coming into the experience of His revealed, manifest presence. We should develop our spiritual sensitivity, so we will be able to recognize His presence, and turn aside as the Lord reveals Himself in our meetings through His quickening presence. When Moses responded and turned aside, the Lord imparted instructions, which led to the deliverance of His people from bondage. As Moses stood in the manifested presence of the Lord, he was both enabled and empowered to lead them into a land that flowed with milk and honey. Our worship is tremendously important, as it also hinders the functioning of demons and principalities, and leads to deliverance. The value of our worship is far more than we may realize. It releases the Lord to move in intervention, as when we worship, the Lord works in our behalf. Although the Lord has all the choirs of heaven to lead in heavenly worship, He desires to inhabit our praise and worship. “But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship Him.” John 4:23 Rev. Skip Wigmore, Light of Life Ministries Smithfield, NClolministries@embarqmail.com Revelation 18:4-5 (NIV) Then I heard another voice from heaven say: "Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins, so that you will not receive any of her plagues; for her sins are piled up to heaven, and God has remembered her crimes.

When You Hurt‏

WHEN YOU HURT

In one way or another, we are all hurting. Every person on earth carries his own burden of pain. When you are deeply hurt, no person on earth can shut down the inner fears and deepest agonies. Not the best of friends can understand the battle you are going through or the wounds inflicted on you. Is there a balm for a broken heart? Is there healing for those deep, inner hurts? Can the pieces be put back together and the heart be made even stronger? Yes! Absolutely yes! And if not, then God's Word would be a hoax and God himself would be a liar. That cannot be! God didn't promise you a painless way of life. He promised you "a way of escape." He promised to help you bear your pain. Strength to put you back on your feet when weakness makes you stagger. Our loving Father said, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). Your heavenly Father watches over you with an unwavering eye. Every move is monitored. Every tear is bottled. He identifies with your every pain. He feels every hurt. He will never allow you to drown in your tears. He will not permit your hurt to deteriorate your mind. He promises to come, right on time, to wipe away your tears and give you joy for mourning. You have the ability to make your heart rejoice and be glad in the Lord. God's eye is on you—and he commands us to rise up and shake off all those fears causing doubt.

You can be blessed!‏

You can be blessed!
Sumner Wemp

The blessed person"Blessed is the man" Ps. 1:1. Don't just desire, hope, pray for a blessing, or wait for a blessing but delight in and do what brings inexplicable blessings. Delight in the Word of God"His delight is in the law of the Lord" Ps. 1:2. He reads the Bible! Now, seriously, how much do you read the Word of the Living God every day? We ought to delight in it not read it out of duty. Desire the delicious milk of the Word "like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation," 1 Peter 2:2. O dear people, cry out for the Word of God like a new born baby cries out for the milk of it's mother. That is the natural and normal thing to do. Discover God's precious word"Your words were found and I ate them, And Your words became for me a joy and the delight of my heart; "Jer. 15:16. That joy and rejoicing is worth a billion times more than all the pleasures of the world. Pick up that Bible. Discover that joy again like you had when you were first saved. Meditate on the Word"In His law he meditates day and night" Ps. 1:2. What are you thinking about all day long? Watch TV by the hour and I guarantee you, that you won't do any meditating, (concentrated thinking) about God and the Word of God. Memorize Scripture so you can meditate on it as you work, wash dishes, drive, walk and play. Celeste and I memorized hundreds of verses through the Navigators program. What eternal dividends this has brought to our lives. Bear fruit and be prosperous" Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. " Ps. 1:3. Do this and you will succeed. O dear people, I want this for your so badly I could scream. THIS IS LIVING. This is what life is all about. This is "life more abundantly" John 10:10. You chose what you want to do. Choose life "I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live" Deut. 30:19 Prayer: Father, bless your dear children that they may choose to delight in Your word and meditate in it so they may rejoice and prosper. In Jesus name.

What We Need To Defy the Storms Of Earth‏

What We Need To Defy the Storms Of Earth

"Give me the sunshine of heaven, and I will defy the storms of earth. Lord, permit me to enjoy a sense of Your favor, conscious that You are pleased with my life, and people may frown and slander all they want. It is enough for a servant to please the master. Others may be dissatisfied, but they do not pay the wages, and their opinions have no weight." - Charles Spurgeon, The Treasury Of David, pg. 232

Throughout the Psalms, we find the earnest plea for God to "cause His face to shine" upon His people.

Psalm 31:16 says - "Make Thy face to shine upon Thy servant: save me for Thy mercies' sake."

Psalm 67:1 says - "God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause His face to shine upon us; Selah."

Psalm 119:135 says - "Make Thy face to shine upon Thy servant..."

Psalm 80:3, 7, & 19 all contain the words - "...cause Thy face to shine; and we shall be saved."

The above verses make reference to the High Priestly prayer mentioned in Numbers 6:25 which includes - "The LORD make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee."

What exactly does it mean when God "shines His face" upon His people?

It implies having a sense of His glorious presence in one's life... having a personal experience with Him... attracting His good will and active and special regard...receiving His love and then having the assurance of His love... receiving the comfort of His favor... knowing that one is reconciled to Him and the recipient of His acceptance...having His smile on one's life...and enjoying the undeserved expressions of His love.

Why did the Psalmists make it a special point to earnestly cry out - even repeatedly at times - with this request?

The answer can be found in the following quotes - "During distress, God comes, and when He comes, there is no more distress." - Gaelic Proverb "There is no circumstance, however extreme, that is too great for God's power. He is even able to save from death(Hebrews 5:7) by simply turning His smiling face on His afflicted. People can do little, but God can do all things with a glance. Oh, to live forever in the light of Jehovah's countenance." - Charles Spurgeon, The Treasury Of David, pg. 710 Did you catch what was said here? When Jesus shows up, there is no more distress. Also, "People can do little, but God can do all things with a glance." Tell me - who wouldn't cry after the Lord day and night for His "glance" - which is able to turn around any and every imaginable circumstance in the human life? Is it any wonder that Asaph in Psalm 80 repeatedly cried out to Him, saying - "...cause Thy face to shine; and we shall be saved." Also, in Psalm 31:16, David prayed - "Make Thy face to shine upon Thy servant: save me for Thy mercies' sake." What both of these inspired writers saw was the connection between the favor, presence, and approval of Almighty God and His salvation in one's life - salvation from sin, dangers, troubles, and ruin. No longer does the saint of God have to stand shamefacedly before his enemies. On the contrary, when God manifests His Divine Favor, it is the wicked who are disgraced and their evil devices and schemes come to an end. Spurgeon explained it this way - "Opposers frown, but You smile. They darken my life, but if Your face shines on me, all will be bright." - The Treasury Of David, pg. 1192 The Expositor's Bible Commentary adds this remark - "When the face of the Lord shines on His people, they are blessed with His presence and favor and will be saved." This is all fine - but you may be reading this message and thinking to yourself - "At this time in my life, I am not enjoying "the sunshine of heaven" - so to speak. I am not enjoying a sense of God's favor, nor am I conscious that He is well pleased with me." Perhaps you are like Israel - as mentioned in Psalm 80 - who was in desperate need of restoration or God's converting grace. Like them, you may have strayed from Him and your duty - only to turn aside to sinful ways - while provoking Him to hide His face from you and give you over to the hand of your enemies. Or as you read this message, you may have certain individuals, ministries, churches, or nations in mind who areguilty of the same. As we would all agree - the best restoration is the one in character and not in circumstances. You may feel the need to - be restored to God's covenant mercies...be turned again to Him from the world and the flesh... have the power of sin and Satan broken over your life once again...be brought back from captivity...and be restored to your former state of prosperity and well being - from which you had been driven out due to your rebellion and disobedience. You yearn for God's smile to reappear and the frown onHis countenance to disappear. Why not cry out to Him at this time - as Asaph led the nation of Israel in the days of old? - "Turn us again, O God, and cause Thy face to shine; and we shall be saved" (Psalm 80:3). "Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause Thy face to shine; and we shall be saved" (Psalm 80:7). "Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause Thy face to shine; and we shall be saved" (Psalm 80:19). Do you want "the sunshine of heaven" on your life? It's the only way that you will be able to "defy the storms" that will come your way. Cry out for God's favor...earnestly plead for it...and don't go another moment without it. In closing, why not pray this powerful prayer for the Lord's "countenance" to shine upon your life, family, ministry, church, and nation - "Convert us from the earthly to the heavenly. Convert our rebellious wills to You. And when we are converted, show Your countenance, that we may know You. Show Your power, that we may fear You. Show Your wisdom, that we may reverence You. Show Your goodness, that we may love You. Show them once, show them a second time, show them always, that through tribulation we may pass with a happy face and be saved. When You save, we will be saved. When You withdraw Your hand, we cannot be saved." - Girolamo Savanarola - The Treasury Of David, pg. 705 2 Chronicles 7:14 says - "If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." God hasn't changed his mind. Repentance is still the key to obtaining "the sunshine of heaven" which "defies the storms of earth." Rend Your Heart‏

Rend Your Heart

The Lord spoke all day long and it started with this: "Rend Your Hearts!"Now rend is not something one would normally say, it means to rip or tear out with violence, to split apart showing grief or anguish. I thought, Lord I am not sure I am hearing You right, but I was and He spoke to me all day over those 3 words "Rend Your Hearts". At first I thought why would God ask people to rip and tear apart their hearts before Him.

This is what He showed to me today. God asks for our hearts first and above all and God asks for ALL of our hearts, not parts of it. God writes upon our hearts. He gives to us a new heart. We store things within our hearts. Unfortunately, we store most all things within the heart and sometimes those things are not things of God which God meant for us to keep there. We can store good things of God there or things such as hurt, anger, bitterness etc there. The things which are not of God make our hearts hard in the places where we hold on to them. It is not always a result of our own sin that those things are there in the heart, many times it is from others sinning against us that allowed those things to be stored there, hidden within our heart. The Lord showed to me that things/times/wounds which are hidden within our hearts are hard and we are to rend our hearts before God. Tear them wide open and expose all that is there before the God who can heal those things.

God cannot heal our hearts or give us a new heart if it is hard and things are still hidden there. Rending the heart is painful, it is never pleasant to go into the things hidden in the heart, the past things which have caused us pain and expose them before God, but if we do not rend the heart, if we let those things stay hidden there, we cannot find His healing within those areas of our lives and that piece of our heart will stay hardened and hidden. It will bring spiritual death to the part of our heart that is hardened.

When we rend our heart, the pain that is there can be healed by God and the things not of God will leave our life. When we do not rend our heart, that pain is trapped there and just allows the heart to get even harder.

I think we have all had times that seemed to tear at our heart and cause us deep pain and all too often people tend to hide and bury that pain and let that part of their heart harden, they hide those times deep within the heart. It is painful to go back into those times or moments that are hidden there deep within the heart and when we do, it feels as if our heart is being ripped out once again.

The trouble is that God cannot heal the heart, or parts of the heart that we have hidden away, until we are willing to rend or open that part and expose it before God. God wants to heal and have ALL of our hearts, and that means that we need to rend our hearts to God fully to find that healing that only He can give.

If we do not rend all of our hearts, then all those things which God does not want there, those hardened places will remain with all of the pain, etc, trapped inside. You cannot have a new heart or the heart of God fully until you are willing to rend all of your heart.

God is sovereign, and while I do not know why God allows certain things into our lives, there is always a reason. And that is usually to take us to a place of deeper trust in Him or to grow our faith. I was reminded in the Word of the time in the desert that God had allowed the people to be bitten by the snakes. The bites were literally killing the people.

The Lord told Moses to build a bronze snake and put it on a pole and when the people looked at it, they would be healed. Sometimes the serpent does bite us in life and when he does, we have to stop and look at what bit us in the face to find the healing of God in that time. God made the people look at the very thing that caused their pain, grief, even death and He did not just say glance at it, but fix your eyes on it.

When we are willing to face the pain of what is in the heart and we are willing to trust that God will heal it, God meets us there within that pain and He does show us truth of that thing and we will find healing. I personally know that the deeper the pain or wound or wrong done to us, the deeper it is hidden within our heart. The more the heart was hurt or torn, the deeper the wound gets hidden and the harder the heart becomes. You cannot find healing from God until you are willing to stare in the face the very thing that harmed you because it is rending your heart to God, exposing that thing to Him, that allows God the freedom to come to youand heal your heart.

Many times that does feel like you are tearing open your heart with violence, it is painful to go to those times and places within our heart, but until you do, God cannot heal you and God will not have ALL of your heart. God is desiring to heal and have ALL of our heart in this time so that He can fill our hearts full of what He desires for us.

Rend your heart, and God will pour out His Spirit upon you, and will fill it with new life from Him. God is calling His people to return to Him with ALL of their hearts so that He can fill us to a fuller measure of His Spirit within this time.

God is wanting to sweep the land with His glory upon our lives for all to see, but until we rend our hearts fully to Him, His glory will not be fully seen by others within our lives. Rend your heart to the God who can heal it, return to Him with all of your heart, so others may see the glory of what the Lord Most High will do within the lives of His people.

God's Been Good To Me‏

God's Been Good To Me

I'm mindful of the blessings
That come my way each day.
My heart is overflowing
Each time I kneel to pray.
I'm thankful for the seasons:
Each one's a masterpiece.
I'm allowed to work the land,
But God still holds the lease.
I'm grateful for the friendships
That brighten sorrows way,
Because my cup of happiness
Sustains me every day.
I love the children and the flowers
That decorate my life,
And the quite gentle hours
Free from worry and strife.
I'm grateful for eyes that see
The beauty of it all,
Because God's been good to me
And has blessed me through it all.
I'm thankful for the little things
That fill my life with love.
The best things in life are free:
They come from God above!

Why Does God Give so Much?‏

My Cup Runs Over

Have you ever wondered why God gives so much? We could exist on far less. He could have left the world flat and gray; we wouldn't have known the difference. But he didn't.

He splashed orange in the sunrise and cast the sky in blue. And if you love to see geese as they gather, chances are you'll see that too.Did he have to make the squirrel's tail furry? Was he obliged to make the birds sings? And the funny way that chickens scurry or the majesty of thunder when it rings? Why give a flower fragrance? Why give food its taste?

Could it be he loves to see that look upon your face? If we give gifts to show our love, how much more would he? If we - speckled with foibles and greed - love to give gifts, how much more does God, pure and perfect God, enjoy giving gifts to us?

Open the eyes of my heart Lord,
Open the eyes of my heart,
I want to see You, I want to see You!

To see You high and lifted up,
Shining in the light of Your glory,
Pour out Your power and love
As we sing Holy, Holy, Holy!

Open the eyes of my heart,
I want to see You, I want to see You!
Open the eyes of my heart Lord,
Open the eyes of my heart,
I want to see You, I want to see You!

To see You high and lifted up,
Shining in the light of Your glory,

How Should We View Ourselves?

How Should We View Ourselves?

God doesn’t want a bunch of clones. You should not let people makeyou feel badly about yourself because you don’t fit their image of whoyou should be. You were created to be you. You were not created tomimic somebody else. If God had wanted you to look like a perfect model or have a different personality, He would have made you that way. When you go around trying to be like somebody else, not only does it demean you; it steals your uniqueness.

An important factor in seeing yourself God’s way is to understandyour intrinsic sense of value. Your sense of value cannot be basedon your successes or failures, how your friends treat you, or howpopular you are. It is not something we earn; indeed, we cannotearn it. God built value into us when He created us. As His unique creation, you have something to offer this world that nobody elsehas, that nobody else can be. Your sense of value should be basedsolely on the fact that you are a child of the Most High God.

Quiet yourself and receive God’s Word: “We are God’s workmanship” (Ephesians 2:10). The word workmanship implies that you are a “work in progress”. God is continually shaping us into the people He wantsus to be.

Be an original, not a copycat. Be secure in who God made you to beand then go out and be the best person that you can be. Even ifeverybody else rejects you, remember, God stands before you with His arms open wide.

IF YOU RUN THE RACE AND BE THE BEST THAT YOU CAN BE, THEN YOU CANFEEL GOOD ABOUT YOURSELF.

"Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its trouble, it empties today ofits strength"

Remember, when the world pushes you to your knees, you are in perfect position to pray"

A Great and Encouraging Word‏

A Great and Encouraging Word.

TITUS 2:11-14

11. "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,
12. Teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lust, we shouldlive soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age,
13. Looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our greatGod and Savior Jesus Christ,
14. Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people zealous for good works."

The appearance of the grace of God is to produce two results in lives of believers: first, we are to resist the evil temptations of this world, by living godly lives in this present age. Second, we are to look for Christ's return.

Great God and Savior Jesus Christ is one of the strongest statements of the deity of Christ in the New Testament.

Redeem means to purchase. With his death on the Cross, Christ paid the price to release us from the bondage of sin (Eph 1:7)
to which every unbeliever is a slave(Rom. 6:6,7,17,20).

God's purpose in redeeming is not only to save us from hell, He also wants to free us from sin so that we can produce good works that glorify Him (Eph. 2:8-18)

A bright side of the Tribulation‏

A Bright Side of the Tribulation

"And I saw another angel ... saying, do not harm the earth...til we have sealed the bondservants of our God in their foreheads. And I heard the number of them who were sealed one hundred and forty-four thousand from every tribe of the sons of Israel" Rev. 7:2-4.

The Spirit of God is gone but the servants of God are these 144,000 Jews. Many Bible scholars believe that the 144,000 will be Jewish Evangelists, like the Apostle Paul, during the tribulation. He said he was one "born out of due time" 1 Cor. 15:8. Now think about this. The Jews are scattered all over the world. Imagine 144,000 Apostle Pauls preaching all over the world, with the power of God upon them like the Apostle. You talk about revival.

A great multitude saved."After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which noone could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples andtongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed inwhite robes, and palm branches were in their hands... These are theones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washedtheir robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."Rev. 7:9-14.

Is anyone going to be saved during the tribulation? Yes, a great multitude from every tribe and tongue, under the powerful preachingof these converted Jews who are scattered all over the world andalready know the languages.

Then shall the end come. The context is critical here. "This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, andthen the end will come" Matt, 24:14. This whole chapter is Jesus'answer as to "when shall the end of the world (age) come" vs 3. Jesusis not talking about the rapture but the return to the earth. Thewhole context is clear about that. More on this later. Too oftentoday people apply it to the rapture and then declare Jesus cannotcome until the great commission is fulfilled. NO. If that were sothen the coming of the Lord Jesus is not imminent, meaning he couldnot have come at any time or now! The honest truth is we are a longways from fulfilling the great commission. We ought to be passionateabout trying to fulfill it and get the gospel to every creature. Butthis passage in Matt. 24 tells us it will be fulfilled during the tribulation. Awesome truth but it all fits. Reread this lesson untilit becomes clear to you. Stay with us and see how it all fits.

O dear people. You passion and mine ought to be to get the gospel tothat lost person we meet and have a few minuets with now. It may bethe last member of the Body of Christ before the rapture. Wouldn'tthat be phenomenal if your had the privilege of winning the lastperson to Christ in this age? All because of Calvary, Sumner

Prayer: Father, You are not willing that any should perish. Help us to realize that the person you put is with may be the last one to be saved and we must get the gospel to them and give them achance to go to heaven even as someone gave us the gospel one day.In Jesus name.

His Alone

His Alone
Before the Lord
Almighty can in any great way use a man,
He first must teach that heart to seek
the glory of God alone.
The proudest heart that lusts for fame,
The heart that seeks for men’s acclaim,
When laid down at His feet in...

Remind Me God‏

Remind Me God
By David Mac Whinnie

The times when I am lonely
and perhaps I feel despair.
Let not my ailing heart forget
That you hear my every prayer.
Remind me that no matter,
What I do or fail to do.
There still is hope for as long,
As I have faith in You...
Let not my eyes be blinded,
By some folly I commit,
And help me to regret my wrong,
And make amends for it.
Inspire me to put my fears,
Upon the hidden shelf,
And in the future try not to,
Feel sorry for myself.
Give me the restful sleep I need,
Before another dawn.
And bless me in the morning,
With the courage to go on.

Getting A Frim Grip‏

GETTING A FIRM GRIP

Have you ever felt like you are missing something in your life? You trythe best you can, yet you can't seem to find the power to make the right decisions or to stand up and be counted as a Christian. We know that God has promised to be with us always, yet somehow we just can't make the connection. We all struggle with those things at times and we may not understand why it is so hard for us to touch God, especially when we want so badly to tap into God's power.

A man tells of riding on a street car some time ago. It was one of those cars with an underground trolley cable. He observed that the motorman could easily make the car go slowly or make it go fast. When they would come to a cross street he noticed that by touch of the handle the car would almost stop, and yet would not quite stop, but just go creeping along like a snail. Then all at once the motorman would touch the handle again and the car would speed up again.

He got curious to know how the thing was done, so he ventured to the platform and ask the motorman how it worked. "Why, when I squeeze this handle I open the mouth that grips the trolley cable (where the power comes from). When I want to go slow, I open the mouth and just barely grip the cable. WE CALL THAT SKINNING THE WIRE." (Author unknown)

The problem with many people today, is that they are just skinning the wire.. They have never tapped into or gotten a firm grip on the power of God. Much of the Apostle Paul's writings to the early church contained encouragement to get a strong grip on God. We often are content to hold loosely onto God, barely keeping in touch, skinning the wire so to speak. the problem with that is, when the need for God's power in our lives surprises us, the handle is frozen in the loose position and we can't seem to free it to connect completely to the power.

Paul wrote the young man Timothy, both warning and encouraging him in 1 Timothy 6:12. He tells him: "Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses." (NIV)

Holding on to God (and eternal life) is a constant fight, a constant struggle to maintain a strong grip. When we slack off, relax our grip (skin the wire) we are doing exactly what Satan wants us to do. How far do we move from the source of power before we suddenly find it is no longer within our reach?

Perhaps it is time for you to take a firm grip on eternal life while you still can. If you are struggling with your Christian walk, maybe it is time to 'Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called," and stop just letting life slip through your fingers.

By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Faith not evidenced by our OBEDIENCE to the command of God.

Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man. Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

Psalm 84

1 How lovely is your dwelling place,
O Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

2 I long, yes, I faint with longing
to enter the courts of the Lord.
With my whole being, body and soul,
I will shout joyfully to the living God.

3 Even the sparrow finds a home,
and the swallow builds her nest and raises her young
at a place near your altar,
O Lord of Heaven’s Armies, my King and my God!

4 What joy for those who can live in your house,
always singing your praises.

Psalm 70

1 Hasten, O God, to save me; O LORD, come quickly to help me.
2 May those who seek my life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace.
3 May those who say to me, "Aha! Aha!" turn back because of their shame.
4 But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, "Let God be exalted!"
5 Yet I am poor and needy; come quickly to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; O LORD, do not delay

Renew Me‏

Renew Me
A Morning Prayer
Helen Steiner Rice

You are ushering a new day,
Untouched and freshly new,
So here I come to ask You God,
If You'll renew me too?

Forgive the many errors
That I made yesterday,
And let me try again dear God,
To walk closer in Thy way.

But Father I am well aware,
I can't make it on my own,
So take my hand and hold it tight,
For I can't walk alone.

Lord, I come to you ( The power of Your love)

Lord, I come to You let my heart be changed renewed, flowing from the grace that i found in You. And Lord, I've come to know the weaknesses I see in me will be stripped away by the power of your love. Hold me close, let Your love surround me. Bring me near, draw me to Your side. And as i wait, I'll rise up like the eagle and i will soar with You, Your spirit lead me on, in the power of Your love.
Lord unveil my eyes, let me see You face to face
The knowledge of Your love as You live in me
Lord renew my mind
As Your will unfold in my life, in living every day.
By the power of Your love.

Psalm 77

1 I cried out to God for help;
I cried out to God to hear me.
2 When I was in distress, I sought the Lord;
at night I stretched out untiring hands
and my soul refused to be comforted.
3 I remembered you, O God, and I groaned;
I mused, and my spirit grew faint.
Selah
4 You kept my eyes from closing;
I was too troubled to speak.
5 I thought about the former days,
the years of long ago;
6 I remembered my songs in the night.
My heart mused and my spirit inquired:
7 "Will the Lord reject forever?
Will he never show his favor again?
8 Has his unfailing love vanished forever?
Has his promise failed for all time?
9 Has God forgotten to be merciful?
Has he in anger withheld his compassion?"
Selah

A Very Important Recall Notice: Please Read!‏

RECALL NOTICE

The Maker of all human beings is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of make or year, due to a serious defect in the primary and central component of the heart.

This is due to a malfunction in the original prototype units code named Adam and Eve, resulting in the reproduction of the same defect in all subsequent units. This defect has been technically termed "Subsequential Internal Non-Morality, "or more commonly known as S.I.N., as it is primarily expressed.

Some other symptoms include:

1. Loss of direction.

2. Foul vocal emissions.

3. Amnesia of origin.

4. Lack of peace and joy.

5. Selfish or violent behavior.

6. Depression or confusion in the mental component.

7. Fearfulness.

8. Idolatry.

9. Rebellion.

The Manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect, is providing factory-authorized repair and service free of charge to correct this SIN defect. The Repair Technician, Jesus, has most generously offered to bear the entire burden of the staggering cost of these repairs. There is no additional fee required.

The number to call for repair in all areas is: P-R-A-Y-E-R.

Once connected, please upload your burden of SIN through the REPENTANCE procedure. Next, download ATONEMENT from the Repair Technician, Jesus, into the heart component. No matter how big or small the SIN defect is, Jesus will replace it with:

1. Love

2. Joy

3. Peace

4. Patience

5. Kindness

6. Goodness

7. Faithfulness

8. Gentleness

9. Self control

Please see the operating manual, the B.I.B.L.E. (Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth) for further details on the use of these fixes. WARNING: Continuing to operate the human being unit without correction voids any manufacturer warranties, exposing the unit to dangers and problems too numerous to list and will result in the human unit being permanently impounded.

DANGER: The human being units not responding to this recall action will have to be scrapped in the furnace. The SIN defect will not be permitted to enter Heaven so as to prevent contamination of that facility. Thank you for your attention!

GOD, Please assist where possible by notifying others of this important recall notice, and you may contact the Father any time.

With thanks to: Peter Enesi

Little Changes - Do we notice?‏

Little Changes - Do we notice?

How much do you pay attention to the little things in your life? This can range from attitude, joy, friendships, the Love of your life, and even your own spiritual walk with God. It can encompass all areas of your life. The being unaware of changes going on around us may be so small that we pay no attention to them at all. But this can be a very subtle attackof the enemy and you may not notice until it becomes larger than life. Forexample: You may have put on 1-5 lbs over a period of moths or ever longerand not given a thought to how much junk food you have given in to or howmuch of your daily or weekend exercise routine you have been to busy tomaintain. You may not be spending quality time in the Lord of God becauseyou tell yourself "I don't have time today". You may have not kissed yourhusband/wife/kids goodbye today because your were running lat or still a bit miffed over a silly argument. You may not have made fun time with yourbest friends a priority because there were so many things that got in theway. And on and on the scenarios go. So the point is: These things inthemselves may seem small but they desensitized you to the important things around you and over a period of time they became enormous in size.

Weight gain, if left go week after week, month after month can become 20+lbs over your norm but if you would have noticed or paid attention to details, when you gained 5 lbs it would have been easier to get back ontrack. It’s the same with exercise, a daily 30 minutes is not that big ofa deal but let it go and it affects so many areas in your life and healthand attitude. Time in the Word neglected will change everything in your life and not for the good. Satan will cause you to make one small compromise after another 'til you no longer even look at sin as sin. It'sthe little things that we don't notice that cause many downfalls in ourlives. One good-bye kiss to your spouse or kids doesn't seem big in itself but repeatedly not making it a priority can cause changes in whatis the most important relationship in your life. It's the little changesthat we don't even notice. But it's the little things that make the difference in where our lives end up.

1 Peter 5:8 (NKJV) Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

An Easter Prayer‏

AN EASTER PRAYER

Lord, Thank you for the gift of HOPE
You gave us on Easter morning,
Because of You we know
That no problem is too difficult,

and even death does not have power over us.

Thank you for the gift of JOY
You gave us when You were resurrected.
Because of You we know
that no matter how challenged life may be
in the end we will rejoice again.

Thank You for the gift of LOVE
You gave us when You laid down your life.
Because of You we know

That there is no sin to great to separate us
and we’re incredible valuable to You.

Thank you for the give of LIFE
You gave us when You left the tomb.
Because of Easter we know
this world is just the beginning
and we will spend forever in heaven with You.

We celebrate You JESUS
with hearts full of praise and gratitude
for who You are and for all You’ve done for us!
AMEN!!

PROVERBS 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

COPY FROM MY COUSIN'S BLOG

From the shadow you slowly walked away,& With all my strength, and all my might.I tried to forget, but was to no avail."What's the point for all the things i did?"Im tired of it, i can't stand it.I've fallen.Realising for now,God, help me. Every sorrow suggests a thousand songs, and every song recalls a thousand sorrows, and so they are infinite in number and all the same. ~ Marilynne Robinson And so I know and rely on the love God has for me. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in Him~ 1 John 4:16

I am worthy of God's Love

Obeying God in Your Place‏

Obeying God in Your Place
by Roy Lessin

For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. II Chronicles 16:9 NIV

God has called each of us to obey Him in the place He has us. In His eyes we all have a ministry. Many serve Him in a local church through a variety of ministries, such as music, teaching, youth work, or by being a part of the church staff. Others serve on the mission field, on the job, at school, or at home.

God knows you and He knows your heart desires to serve Him. You are someone that He will use to make a difference, to share His love, and to touch the hearts of others. What has qualified you for this high privilegeof being used by Him? Is it your talents, your personality, your education, your influence, or your résumé? It is none of these; rather, it is the response of your heart toward Him. God is always searching for those whose hearts are yielded to Him so that He can work mightily through them.

Sometimes we can be led to think that God’s work is dependent upon us, upon what we do, and upon what we know. The truth is that God wants us to be totally dependent upon Him. He is the Treasure, we are the vessels; He is Vine, we are the branches; He is the Living Water, we are the channels through which He flows.

The apostle Peter was someone who needed to learn this important truth. Jesus taught him the futility of trying to get results through his own efforts by allowing him, an expert fisherman, to labor all night and come up empty. Afterward, when He followed Jesus’ word to cast out into the deep, Peter pulled in a catch that was beyond his dreams.

As His servant, remember that your ministry is His idea and not yours. He is the One who knows you, who has called you, and who has equipped you to serve Him. Remain true, remain faithful, remain restful, and remain totally dependent upon Him.

God is not looking for those who are clever, but for those in whom He can be wise; He is not looking for those who are talented, but for those to whom He can be all sufficient; He is not looking for those who are powerful, but for those through whom He can be almighty.
