Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
He rose and conquered the grave, He is MIGHTY to save. Shine Your light and let the whole world see. We're singing for the glory of the risen King! ♥

COPY FROM MY COUSIN'S BLOG
From the shadow you slowly walked away,& With all my strength, and all my might.I tried to forget, but was to no avail."What's the point for all the things i did?"Im tired of it, i can't stand it.I've fallen.Realising for now,God, help me. Every sorrow suggests a thousand songs, and every song recalls a thousand sorrows, and so they are infinite in number and all the same. ~ Marilynne Robinson And so I know and rely on the love God has for me. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in Him~ 1 John 4:16

Obeying God in Your Place
Obeying God in Your Place
by Roy Lessin
For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. II Chronicles 16:9 NIV
God has called each of us to obey Him in the place He has us. In His eyes we all have a ministry. Many serve Him in a local church through a variety of ministries, such as music, teaching, youth work, or by being a part of the church staff. Others serve on the mission field, on the job, at school, or at home.
God knows you and He knows your heart desires to serve Him. You are someone that He will use to make a difference, to share His love, and to touch the hearts of others. What has qualified you for this high privilegeof being used by Him? Is it your talents, your personality, your education, your influence, or your résumé? It is none of these; rather, it is the response of your heart toward Him. God is always searching for those whose hearts are yielded to Him so that He can work mightily through them.
Sometimes we can be led to think that God’s work is dependent upon us, upon what we do, and upon what we know. The truth is that God wants us to be totally dependent upon Him. He is the Treasure, we are the vessels; He is Vine, we are the branches; He is the Living Water, we are the channels through which He flows.
The apostle Peter was someone who needed to learn this important truth. Jesus taught him the futility of trying to get results through his own efforts by allowing him, an expert fisherman, to labor all night and come up empty. Afterward, when He followed Jesus’ word to cast out into the deep, Peter pulled in a catch that was beyond his dreams.
As His servant, remember that your ministry is His idea and not yours. He is the One who knows you, who has called you, and who has equipped you to serve Him. Remain true, remain faithful, remain restful, and remain totally dependent upon Him.
God is not looking for those who are clever, but for those in whom He can be wise; He is not looking for those who are talented, but for those to whom He can be all sufficient; He is not looking for those who are powerful, but for those through whom He can be almighty.

The Ten Commandments
THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
David Wilkerson
Most of America knows that the Supreme Court of the United States has ruled the Ten Commandments cannot be displayed in any government courthouse. This landmark decision has been covered exhaustively by the media. But what does the ruling mean?
courthouse is where laws are enforced. The Ten Commandments represent God’s moral law, which never shifts or changes. It is as fixed as the law of gravity.
If you defy that law, it’s like stepping off a high building. You can deny that the law affects you, but there are consequences sure to be paid.
Simply put, the Ten Commandments are eternal laws designed by God to keep society from destroying itself. Yet, amazingly, many sand-blasting companies are at work right now grinding away those Commandments—as well as God’s name—wherever they’re engraved in courthouse marble or concrete.
What a telling picture of the state of our society. These unchangeable laws were originally engraved in stone by the finger of God. And now they are being erased from stone by the law of man.
Some Christians are saying, “What’s the big deal? We are not under the law. Why should this be an issue?” No, we are not under the Hebrew law, meaning the 613 additional commandments added by Jewish rabbis. But every Christian is under the authority of God’s moral law, which is summed up in the Ten Commandments.
I wonder what goes through God’s mind as these sand-blasters erase his laws from before our eyes. Some believers claim, “We don’t need these displays of the Commandments. All that’s really necessary is for us to have them written in our hearts.” That’s not what God’s Word says. Consider the very visible presence God intended for the Commandments as they were delivered to his people:
“These words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart… and [thou] shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thy hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates” (Deuteronomy 6:6-9).

HOW SWEET AND AWEFUL IS THE PLACE
How sweet and awe-ful is the place
With Christ within the doors
While everlasting love displays
The Choicest of her stores
While all our hearts and all our songs
Join to ad-mire the feast
Each of us cry with thankful tongues
"Lord, why was i a guest?
Why was i made to hear Thy voice
And enter while there's room
When thousands make a wretched choice
And rather starve than come?
Twas the same love that spread the feast
That sweetly drew us in
Else we had still refused to taste
And perished in our sin
Pity the na-tions, O our God
Contrain the earth to come
Send Thy victorious Word a-broad
And bring the strangers home
We long to see Thy churches full
That all the chosen race
May with one voice and heart and soul
Sing Thy redeeming grace
With Christ within the doors
While everlasting love displays
The Choicest of her stores
While all our hearts and all our songs
Join to ad-mire the feast

A Mirror in God's Hand
Amen to this!! Keith
A Mirror in God's Hand
by Paula J. Fox © March 2003
I want to be a mirror, Lord . . . A reflection of Your grace
To shine Your light for all to see
In every darkened place
I want to be transfigured Lord, so the image others see
Will be closer to Your likeness
And the light You've given me
I have no light source of my own . . . but when I look at You
The radiance of Your glory
Shines in all I say and do
I could stand to use some polish . . . I've been cracked and broken too
But it's not myself that matters
It's the light that comes from You
Though I have some imperfections, I'm still useful in Your sight
And in Your hand I know
That You will angle me just right
So that when Your face shines on me, it reflects on others too
And as it does, please use me, Lord
To LIGHT my world for You.

We Are The Reason
We Are The Reason
As little children
We would dream of Christmas morn
Of all the gifts and toys
We knew we'd find
But we never realized
A baby born one blessed night
Gave us the greatest gift of our lives
We were the reason
That He gave His life
We were the reason
That He suffered and dies
To a world that was lost
He gave all He could give
To show us the reason to live
As the year went by
We learned more about gifts
The giving of ourselves
And what that means
On a dark and cloudy day
A man hung crying in the rain
All because of love X2
We were the reason
That He gave His life
We were the reason
That He suffered and died
To a world that was lost
He gave all He could give
To show us the reason to live
I've finally found the reason for living
It's in giving every part of my heart to Him
In all that i do every word that i say
I'll be giving my all just to him. for him
We were the reason.
VICTORY IN JESUS
I heard and old old story
How a savior came from glory
How He gave His life on
Calvary
To save a wretch like me
I heard about His groaning
of His precious blood's atoning
Then i repented of my sins
and won the victory
O victory in Jesus
My Savior forever
He sought me and bought
me
With His redeeming blood
He loved me ere I knew Him
And all my love is due Him
He plunged me to victory
Beneath the cleaning
Flood
I heard about His healing
Of his cleaning pow'r revealing
How He made the lame to walk
again
And caused the blind to see
And then i cried dear Jesus
come and heal my broken spirit
And somehow Jesus came and
brought to me the victory
O victory in Jesus, My Savior forever
He sought me and bought me with his redeeming blood
He loved me ere i knew him and all my love is due Him
He plunged me to victory beneath the cleaning flood
O victory in Jesus, My savior forever
He sought me and bought me with his redeeming blood
He loved me ere i knew him and all my love is due him
He plunged me to victory beneath the cleaning flood

Jesus is the Love
Copy from Uth blog
With a heavy heart and sinking feet,
I trod alone this cold dark street,
Where people only stopped to stare,
and no one bothered to stop and care.

Failure Is Not Final
Failure Is Not Final
From the messages of Adrian Rogers
Psalm 31:23 - “O love the Lord, all ye His saints: for the Lord
preserveth the faithful.”
Ty Cobb and Babe Ruth were two of the greatest baseball players of all time. Ty Cobb was known for his record number of stolen bases, and Babe Ruth was known for his record number of home runs.
What you may not know is that Ty Cobb was also thrown out more thanany other man in baseball trying to steal bases. And Babe Ruth struckout more than any other man in baseball!
These fellows didn’t let their failures stop them, and neither shouldyou! Fix your goal. Face your faults. Forget your failures. Failurein the Christian life is not final.
Maybe you or someone you know is feeling discouraged today. Remindthem or yourself of this promise Philippians 4:13 (NIV) I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

This is Our God
Your grace is enough
More than i need
At Your word I will believe
I wait for You draw near again
Let Your Spirit make me new
And I will fall at your feet
I will fall at your feet
And i will worship you here
Your presence in me
Jesus light the way
By the power of your love
I am restored
I am redeemed
By Your Spirit i am free
Freely you gave it all for us
surrendered Your life upon that cross
Great is the love
Poured out for all
This is Our God
Lifed on high from death to life
Forever our God is glorified
Servant and King
Rescue the world
This is our God.

What God Expects
What God Expects
And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good? — Dt. 10:12-13
When a person accepts a position he should be given a “Job Description.” It is always a good thing to know what is required, or expected of you. When your boss gives you a project at work, it is helpful to know what he desires the finished product to be. As children, you would go and clean your room to the level that you thought was "good enough," only to have your patents come into the room and point out places that were not "up to code."
The same is with us today as born again Christians. Our old nature tempts us to live a Christian life that is "good enough" by the world's standards. But God wants to make sure we live a life that is "up to HIS code."
How can we do that? I believe the answer can be found here in our text as Moses is giving instruction to the next generation of Israel that is getting ready to cross the Jordan. Moses instructs them on what God would require of them:
A Person to Fear - "...to fear the LORD thy God..."
A Path To Follow - "...to walk in all his ways..."
A Priority in Fellowship - "...to love him..."
A Plan to Fulfill - "...to serve the LORD thy God...to keep the commandments...and his statutes..."
What a great plan for all of us to follow today as we strive to live a victorious Christian life!
